Nice work
I loved the guitars and drumming. I couldn't hear much bass though, did you record any bass? It's possible that the guitar's just had too much low end, or the bass didn't have enough thump, or I just was using shitty headphones. I'd love to know the answer :3
The guitar tone was a little too saturated for my taste, but it worked well for the song overall, so who am I to complain really? The playing was tight, the melody was pretty, the harmony was perfect, and the solo at the end was beautiful and melodic, even though you were playing a fast-paced song (something I love. I can't stand shredding).
Also, the drumming was fantastic, like I said. Did you have a live drummer or did you program them? If you programmed them, what software did you use? They sounded very real, and had sick panning.
The beats were wonderfully done, every drum punched through the mix, and the cymbals weren't mixed out too much like many metal bands seem to be doing these days. My only complaint was that the snare was a little tinny when there wasn't much going on with the guitars which allowed it to ring more throughout the soundscape, but to each his own.
